Maya is finally--finally--no longer a sun bear.
It took a while, and she's still not entirely sure of what she did to change back--only that it was followed by an extremely uncomfortable running-about-looking-for-clothes ordeal and she'd had to have a nice young man whose name she hadn't caught break her into her room afterward. Now, at least, she's clothed and fully human, and enjoying it.
She's invaded the Common Room with a cup of coffee, a book, a large hoop of string, a plate of small sandwiches, and assorted other things that really require opposable thumbs and/or a human physique to really enjoy, and is in the process of teaching herself how to make a cat's cradle.
Ah, manual dexterity. You never know how nice it is until you lose it.
