It's funny, how sometimes the healing process can run in a somewhat similar time frame with different people.
Funny, how, now that the elevator's been fixed, both Martha and Becky made use of it.
Becky's back, though. Probably no one would've guessed that she left, given her current mental state. Except that no one really knows her mental state

He was on his way to the common room when he catches sight of Becky and instantly his plan changes courses. "Becks?" He says, walking over to her cautiously. "You okay? ...Did you go out?"
He's staring at the coat more than anything- mostly because he's forcing himself to avoid her eyes since he knows she's not trying anymore.

"Couldn't breathe, down here," she says. Which is true. It's just not, y'know, all the story.
She was tempted to out-and-out lie, just for the pain of it, but thought better of it. If she lied and he caught on, he'd press her for information on where she'd been. What she'd done.
She's not going to meet his eyes just now, but for a different reason than she used to.

Well, it is, although the sarcasm in his voice states that he firmly believes that there really is more to the story. This scenario has the potential to become rather like a little sister getting caught sneaking back into her house after curfew by her big brother... Except breakier.
"Becky?" he says, slowly, desperately, because he's not going to ask her a question that her first impulse would be to tell a lie to unless he absolutely has to. He's just going to give her a chance to talk to him, because... It's him. Des. He can handle most things. Really.

Annie will probably know. Well, that something's going on, at least. Becky's not going to tell her, and she probably won't really ask. But Becky doesn't want to deal with anyone else knowing.
She doesn't want to admit what she did. And she doesn't want to admit that she... actually kind of liked it.
"I'm fine." Fine as in unharmed. Fine as in she's not going to collapse or anything. It's a matter of knowing what she means by her truths that aren't truths.

Cause if so. He'll transform, pick her up, and carry her to the medical room. All while being completely naked.

Right. Luke. And he's a kitten, he'll be able to smell it... she can pass it off as just the one girl's, the one she held through it all, if he stays a kitten and can't ask questions.
"It's not mine," she says very quietly. "I was... I was working."
It's the best way of explaining it.
Her expression doesn't change, though. At all. Through any of it.

As contemplative as a kitten can look, really, but nods. For now. If it's not hers there's not pressing need for him to transform.
However, he's not going to just let her go, though (and thankfully not going to transform right here, because that would completely ruin the moment).

"Thank you," she says softly, then stands and heads for her room.
There are some things she'll never be able to admit to him. This is one of them.
