It has taken Nymphadora Tonks months to find her purpose in Chicago.

It started with Dementors. Tonks had not been expecting a sudden Dementor invasion but the Rift caused one just the same. She had been out walking that day, content to mind her own business when she had been struck by the sudden chilly air. It hadn't been a fluke. Tonks pursued the coldness to it's source. She found Dementors feeding in a bar.

In exchange for chocolate drinks, after Tonks had driven off the Dementors, she promised the barkeep to increase the space in his backroom. After that, word of what she could spread a bit. Chicago was a weird city. It was alright. Tonks was careful with it but it benefited her. It not only gained her an income but it also provided her with a few connections.

Then Doyle had disappeared through a green rift. He had come back though but during his absence Tonks had looked for him. It was during all the looking that she had come to realize that there were probably other people that could use help. She could never be an Auror again. However, she did have a particular set of skills that could be put to very good use in Chicago.

Tonks had come to the decision that she was going to open up her own detective agency, Order Investigations. She has a space. She even has a proper phone installed and has learned how to use e-mail. All that she needs now are clients.

Which is why you can find her all over Chicago this week. She's putting up fliers in any place that she can find. She puts them up in Grant Park. She puts them up near the Tower. A few get plastered around the Navy Pier. If it'll hold a flier, Tonks will stick one up. Being that she's a witch, she hasn't found a place yet that she can't stick one.
