[I KNOW all the posts, and I'm putting up the party post after I put this one up, but I just figured out Lucky's second shapeshifting form, and I needed this in my life. ;_;]
There was a small boy that looked exactly like Jake. Lucky saw him, and he was struck by the similarities. The same eyes, same smile, the same everything. It's like someone

When she gets there she comes to a complete stop. There is a giant polar bear sitting there, and it looks like the saddest thing she has ever seen. It looks so sad that she wants to cry. She's been sad like that before. She's felt like the saddest polar bear in an entire city before.
She knows that bears are dangerous, but this one doesn't look so bad. It just looks....very, very sad. And Parker does not like that.
She continues staring at it for a bit, and then she walks closer. There's a pout on her lips and her eyes are wide. She's not usually the most touchy-feely person, but this isn't a person. It's a polar bear. It's better than a person.
She stops right in front of the bear and looks it dead in the eye.
"Are you sad? Don't be sad."
And then she wraps her arms around the polar bear, nice and tight. Hugs are supposed to make things better. She wants to make this better. And this can't be the worst idea, can it?

Lucky shoves down the predatory instinct so that the polar bear doesn't go hunting for something and find someone innocent to eat out there. He would really not like to eat anyone ever. It is not on his list of things to do today or at any time.
He looks up when the woman approaches, and the polar bear does not recognize her as a prey at all though it is uncertain. He tilts his head to the side looking quizzically at her. There's curiosity, and he sniffs at her before she wraps her arms around him.
The polar bear lifts one paw around her. Daw, polar bear hug, Parker. You are the first one to get one from the polar bear!Lucky.
They are very social animals, and they like having friends! Though most polar bears, you can not trust to not snap you in half, but luckily, this is a Lucky Spencer!polar bear. Not that Parker knows that, but still she will not be hurt by the polar bear.
Not intentionally.
It is a very big polar bear.

She smiles slightly when his paw goes around her and she hugs him tighter.
"It's okay. I'm here. Everything will be okay."
She isn't too sure what she's supposed to say, but she does know that those are the kind of words people say when they're trying to comfort someone. She doesn't think a polar bear would want to hear it any less than normal people.

The paws slide down again and he nods his head.
Everything will be okay. Yes!
Someone talked to him.
Everyone is not running away! These are good things!
He falls back on his behind and sits, sniffing around for FOOD. Because a polar bear is big and hungry.

She looks at the polar bear and frowns. "What do you smell? ...I smell popcorn. Is that what you smell, too?"
Reply
There is definitely a pop corn smell.
The polar bear gets to his feet and starts toward the smell. HE WILL FIND IT. There goes a polar bear running toward the smell.

"Hey wait! Wait for me!"

He looks back to see if she has caught up. There is always room for riding on a polar bear.

She looks at him and blink. "We stopped. Why did we stop?"

SO the bear tilts his head to the side... and then starts ambling forward toward the popcorn again at a slower pace this time.

Maybe this. She puts her arm around him.

Of course, the bear's reaction to smelling food and seeing it... is to want to just GET food. Lucky is not loud enough to convince the bear that money should be paid, and the polar bear may be ripping off the top of the popcorn maker on the street.
The vendor has obviously run away in fear.
