Subconscious Week [Party Post]

For one whole week, the city of Chicago has been afflicted with a new Rift-related curse that has different effects depending on who it's affecting.
Although no one will realize it at first, it is there with the purpose to heal some emotional problems that many of its citizens may be experiencing due to the nature of their highly painful lives filled with disaster, death, and torture.
Go figure.
However, the consequences for not dealing with one's event if afflicted is death.
