Bela Talbot is sitting in a cafe in the municipal district of Chicago, sipping a cup of tea. Contrary to popular belief, she's actually work, even though she looks like she's doing absolutely nothing. Stealing something that's adjacent to a government building takes planning, so that is what she's doing. Planning. She's really good at that

Well Buffy, there may not be cars, but there is a Nellie. Really she's just trying to mind her own business and get from point A to point B, but she should know by now that it's never as simple as that in Chicago. Because right now she happens to look up and see the other blond flying her way.

She doesn't react quiet fast enough. Her arms jut out and her mouth opens, but the next thing she knows she is crumpled on the ground underneath someone. And she's aching.

"Owww."

Buffy felt the softness of her landing, and groaned. "Sorry!" She's apologizing even though it's not her fault, because really -- this girl has no way of knowing that it's not her fault. And she is the one who picked a fight with a troll in the first place.

Taking a breath, she rolls off her as quickly as possible, and then holds up a hand. "Just ... stay here, okay?"

And with that, she's right back to heroing.

Nellie just blinks at that. She's a little surprised at the entire ordeal, so she can't do much but nod and watch the girl run off again. Then her eyes settle on the troll.

Oh boy.

Were she anyone else she might go help out, but she's not anyone else. She knows that she can't do much to help, and it looks like Buffy is doing pretty well on her own. She'll just scoot out of the way and watch for now. And call out a warning or two.

"Watch out for his foot!"

Buffy sidesteps the foot and scrambles around the side of the troll, trying to find where their weapons had fallen to. It takes her a minute to get hands on the scythe, and all it took is a hop, skip and a swing, and the troll is down one arm, spraying green blood everywhere.

Gross.

But at least he's down one weapon of mass destruction. She darts to the side and is trying to find some leverage to launch herself a little higher, but she's not finding any.

Nellie just watches the fight, keeping out of the way. There's nothing she can contribute to it that won't get her in trouble, so she will wait. And watch.
