Neal 8is on a street corner in New York City. There's nothing new there. what is new is the fact that he is not on the job and isn't two miles away or under form June's house.

He's free. He can be wherever he'd like.

He'd been heading out to get lunch, he didn't care where, just somewhere out of the radius when it happens, something shifts, he takes a step and then he's not on that street corner.

He looks around. It's still a street, it's still a city but it's very obviously not New York.

When he said he wanted to go travelling, this was not what he had in mind.

"What the hell," he mutters quietly to himself, looking around. He's shown up in Chicago, less than a mile from the Kashtta at the mouth of an alley and is very,, very confused about what's just happened.

He's not sure if he should start walking or just stay there and wait to see what happens.

If someone would like to help him, the narration doubts he would object.
