After her conversation with Harry, she was in no hurry to seek out Sirius Black or even Remus. It wasn’t personal, well, it was personal. But the problem lied with her. She held herself responsible and wasn’t ready to face that. Besides, they weren’t from the same time she was. They probably wouldn’t even recognize her. There were several reasons, all of them good and equally plausible.
Tonks could currently be found in the kitchen of the Kashtta Tower. It would’ve been hard to miss her. Her violent shade of violet hair hung halfway down her backside. If you missed the purple of her hair, there was then the neon yellowness of her t-shirt. It was a borrowed piece of clothing. Arriving with only the clothing on her back, she had limited options. However, she hoped to remedy that soon.
She had taken over one of the tables completely with a newspaper as well as a pen and piece of paper. Without the Ministry of Magic, there were no Aurors. Without the need for Aurors, Tonks didn’t have a steady paycheck. While not a materialistic person, she still had needs and wants. With the newspaper, she hoped to remedy that. So far, she hadn’t written down any potential jobs but she was still hopeful. There had to be something. Tonks was optimistic that it wouldn't be difficult.
Who wouldn’t want a talented witch that was also a Metamorphmagus while at the same time also a dark wizard catcher? Hmmm. Well, some of those things she’d have to leave off her resume.
