Alex Shepherd hasn't had a very good day today. He's been fighting monsters, figuring out what happened to his home town, and being betrayed by some people he used to know. He's also just recently learned that he killed his younger brother; granted it was an accident, but still. But, he's made his amends to his brother, and all he wanted to do was get back home, pack up, and leave. What he wasn't counting on, however, was experiencing another one of those damn Otherworld shifts.
Except, instead of everything turning into rust, and fire; it's changed too much. He's no longer in a small town, he's now in a large city, and the young man is beyond shocked.
"Wait, what the? What the fuck?!" yeah, Alex doesn't appear to have much of a filter on his mouth. "Where the hell am I?" he asks to nobody really, and then he mutters something about finding a newspaper.
He doesn't seem to notice that there are actually people around him, and that maybe just maybe, he can ask someone where he is. Of course, it's not long before Alex finds himself accidentally bumping into someone.
"Hey, wow, hey, sorry there," he says nervously.
