Debra Morgan is in Grant Park, fighting a monster. Or, to put it more accurately, she's trying not to get eaten alive by some kind of enormous beast with huge incisors and blue fur. This is what happens in Chicago, apparently, when you go out for a cup of coffee and take a detour through the park. Needless to say, she's managed to spill hot coffee all over herself, for the second time since arriving in Chicago. She's shooting at the monster and, of course, using every curse word in the book. Neither of these things is actually helping all that much, but maybe your character has a solution. Hell, let's hope so.
Dean is at the Luna Bar, working an early shift. This is not his ideal way to spend a Friday night, but at least it's been a pretty quiet shift so far. Actually, no, screw that. Dean hates quiet. He'd definitely welcome a distraction. Any distraction.
Anya has been avoiding the Kashtta Tower a bit since the appearance of the kittens. While kittens and bunnies are not mortal enemies, there is apparently something about them that causes Anya to shapeshift, and she has really had quite enough of that, thank you. She, too, decided to spend a bit of time in Grant Park today, but it turns out that this was a mistake. As soon as she stepped into the park, Anya's shoes disappeared directly off her feet. There appears to have been no one and nothing around that could have taken them, but the fact remains that Anya is barefoot. And upset. Those were nice shoes! What kind of thing just goes about taking someone's shoes? She is currently looking under and above every available surface, to no avail. And yet, this is still better than being a bunny. Somehow.
