where do you go when i'm around

McCoy - well, he's not exactly happy. But he's probably the closest he's been to it since he arrived in Chicago about a week ago.

Thanks to Martha, he's officially set up in the Kashtta's clinic. His rift ability should make up for any technological issues he might face. Frankly, he's just glad to be back at doing something he's familiar with. Nothing about Chicago says home, but practicing medicine will at the very least take his mind off of that.

He was told he could volunteer whenever he feels up to it - which means he'll likely be spending almost all of the time during which he's not asleep here. McCoy has always engulfed himself with work. It's not like he has something better to be doing in Chicago.

Other than looking for Jim, who may or may not also be in Chicago and may or may not even be somewhere McCoy could find him and may or may not even fucking be alive, who knows.

But McCoy isn't thinking about that now. He's thinking about getting back to work. That may even be why he's thinking so adamantly about work.

He really is honestly glad to get back to practicing medicine, though, distraction tactic or not.

So here's McCoy, readying himself for his first day of work in the Kashtta clinic. He'll just be sitting at the desk in the corner looking slightly less grumpy than normal if you need him.
