[ guess who's back, guess who's back ]

Sam is very actively not dealing with his problems - namely, the part where the last couple of weeks have taken all of his control not to go out and find some kind of demon to feed on. Barring that, he's not even sure finding a willing demon here would give him the same satisfaction as one back home - and he's also pretty sure that asking nicely won't get him anywhere.

He's in the bookstore, trying to hide in the non-fiction section and browsing through books, trying to find people with crappier lives than his. Only, for some reason, every book he picks up is some kind of hokey memoir and serves to remind him just how ridiculous his own situation is.

He nudges a book back onto a shelf, slumping into an overstuffed reading chair in the corner, and sighs.

Fred is determined to ditch her sadness once and for all and get a job. As far as she's concerned, her brain power isn't being put to good use just sitting around and moping.

Which is why she's sitting in the park under a tree, classifieds in one hand and a red pen in the other, circling the ads she's interested in potentially looking into and completely bypassing the ones that would be foolish to even attempt.

"Cosmetology student wanted for - no, thank you," she murmurs to herself.
