Juliet Burke is sitting crosslegged on the floor of the common room with her elbows resting on her knees and her chin in her hands, staring into a large bowl of water. It would occur to most people that this is rather odd behavior. Juliet doesn't seem to notice (or it could be that she simply doesn't care).
She first noticed when she was fetching water for the wolf (whose human form she has yet to meet) and it sort of escalated from there, this... Whatever the hell it is. She isn't sure, really. All she knows is that it's freaking her out just a little.
The Rift changes people when they come through it.
She sticks in her hand in the water and it parts around her hand like a minature version of the Red Sea, and she pulls it back again quickly, frowning as the water falls back into place with a small splash.
Either the Rift turned her into Moses (not likely) or she can control water now. Either way, she's not entirely pleased by this development, especially since she came through with Daniel and he continues not to show any signs of a change that she can see.
Just one thing. Just give me one thing that's normal for once.
