Feels like the weight of the world

Jasper Grey Wesley is a new face in Chicago but he isn't a Wanderer though if someone asks, he'll pretend to be one. He doesn't want to explain that he was originally from New York. He definitely doesn't want to explain his painful past. But if another angel comes by and asks, he'll just say that he got bored of New York and wanted to travel. Of course, that isn't at all true. If Evan hadn't died or if Jasper could have handled it, he would have never left Chicago.

You'll find the guardian angel on the roof of the Kashtta Tower, smoking a cigarette and his wings out. He didn't bothered wearing a shirt. He never does when it's this hot out and when his wings are out. Ripping his clothing isn't exactly something he wants to do.

Jasper takes another drag from the cigarette and sits down at the edge of the building. Looking down, he thinks of jumping off. No one knows him here, how would they react to finding the body of a stranger dead? That would be an interesting first impression, that's for sure. He shakes his head. He really needs to stop thinking that.

With a sigh, he puts out his cigarette, draws his wings back in, pulls on a shirt he brought with him, and heads down the tower to leave. He didn't come here to socialize with people but he won't make an ass of himself if someone tried talking to him since he's new. Well... he won't try to make an ass of himself. Not his fault if he does by accident.
