Josef Soltini has been mistaken for a helper parent by a teacher in charge of a summer field trip. Someone has actually left him in charge of a group of children while she goes to check on another group. He's not entirely sure what's going on. One minute he was standing in front of a building, waiting for one of his contacts, and the next there were boys and girls all up in his face. He is surrounded by not one, not five, not ten, but twenty of these small and obnoxiously loud creatures, their ages ranging from eight to ten years old. They're all jumping up and down, calling him mister, and asking him a million questions about some damn bus. He honestly looks like he's about to explode.
Jo Harvelle is in one of the workout rooms at the Kashtta. She is punching and kicking a punching bag as if it has offended her greatly. There is a lot of pent up emotion she needs to release, apparently. Her life has changed completely since coming to Chicago, in some ways a lot better than others. She still has no idea what Nikolas wants with her and she doesn't know how to dig up more info on him. That's bugging the living hell out of her. Jo and stress do not mix well together.
Rachel Dawes is not a happy camper. There are two photoshopped pictures taped to the front door of the apartment she shares with Robin. She can only assume it's Robin's stalker. Before she can crumple the picture in her tiny fist of rage and dispose of it, a squirrel appears. It took off and Rachel shifted into a cat, chasing after the squirrel for over an hour. Needless to say, she is very displeased. She is now flopped on the sidewalk across from the apartment and cannot be bothered. She can be found while
staring at the pictures speechlessly or after the shift to a cat has occurred. Either way, she is displeased.
Ally James is talking to a woman while they sit on a bench across from a cathedral. The woman is wearing a beautiful white wedding gown. She just walked out of her own wedding before she could say I do and Ally is trying to help her sort through whatever made her change her mind. The woman named Olivia is having none of it, yelling at Ally to leave her alone. Ally stares after the woman running away, holding the veil that's been left behind.
Wes Gannon is still being followed by a cloud of rain. No matter where he walks, it follows him. There is a drenched guardian angel scowling all over Grant Park, silently hating everything. All six-feet-and-five-inches of him.
