Danny Smalls wrote an entry to people he knows. He said he was leaving, and he is. He's walking out the front doors of the Kashtta without anything but the wallet in his pocket. There's something to be said about having nothing, no possessions, no anything. It's freeing, isn't it? Nothing tying him down. Nothing to care about. He's not planning on

She's been walking through the grass of the park, she's even taken off her sandals - it feels good to feel the grass in between her toes! As she wanders along, she spies a familiar face lying in the grass. Peering over her sunglasses, she smiles brightly. Elizabeth!
Cassie heads over and stands over her, grinning down, "Hello stranger!" she beams happily. Then she notices through her tinted lenses and frowns slightly, "Did you go for a swim or something?"

"Hey!" She says and goes to hug her before she stops when she remembers that she's all wet. Right. She is dripping all over the ground.
There's a small smile that pulls over her face. The Yeah, I'm dumb smile. It's common with her, because she often does stuff that's kinda on the dumb side.
"I... fell in the fountain? It's kind of a long story, but there was like a frisbee and then there was the like wall around the fountain, which like jumped out in front of my legs. So I went for an accidental swim? You could say?"

She tilts her head to one side, grinning brightly. "Yeah, that looks about right. Stupid wall for being in the way, huh?" she comments with another chuckle.
"How've you been?" she asks with a cheery look, "I haven't seen you since I got here!"

She isn't clumsy. It's simply that objects like to trip her all the time! Duh!
"I've been pretty good." She shrugs a bit, twisting a strand of hair between her finger. "Yeah, I tend to get all busy with the angel stuff. How are you? I mean, like cause you're the one settling into this big, dark world of Chicago-ness."
The fact that she is still alive is promising, not that Elizabeth likes to assume that people will die, but she knows that it happens all the time. Every day. It's very easy to die, especially in a city like this.

She shrugs and reaches back to ruffle the already mussed blonde hair at the back of her head in thought, "I've been good. I'm mean the whole Conrad going all kaboom was a little scary, but I was out in town when it happened..." she tells her, "It's not been easy, but yeah - I'm coping as best as anyone can,"
"I've doing loads of walking - just so I can get to know the place a little better. But the best thing is the music scene here!" Cassie's a lot more brighter here, anything music related and she's over the moon. "There's so many places to go and hang out and listen to people play! You should come along with me sometime!"
Reply
She nods, glad to hear about the whole... not being there when the Conrad exploded.
"I came up afterwards to... help. I'm really glad you weren't under there when it exploded and stuff." Because if she had been, there's a good chance that she would have died.
Obviously, she was not meant to die there or she would have. She didn't so her destiny is to die at some other time. It makes sense to Elizabeth, because it's all about destiny. Death is inescapable, but that doesn't mean that life is terrible. It means life is precious, enjoy every moment.
The narration will stop Elizabeth's narrative rambling now.
"Really? Music scene? I don't even know what that means, but I totally believe you, and I'd love to come with you," she says with a slow smile, pulling over her face. "Like seriously. You could teach me all about the ( ... )

Cassie actually flails when Elizabeth doesn't know what a music scene is. She flails. There's a look of pure disbelief on her face as she shakes her head. And yep, more flailing. The narration apologises for the flailing. There is a lot of it.
"Oh. My. God. You're pulling my leg, right?!" she asks in shock. "Like seriosuly, you don't know know what one is?" More flailing. "You have got soooooooooo much to learn ( ... )

She laughs when Cassie flails. It's not a laugh that's aimed at her, but Elizabeth isn't used to seeing anyone else flail like that, but she does it all the time.
"No, no leg pulling. I'm kinda like uninformed on lots of stuff," she says. "It's why I have all these tutors and mentor types showing me the way. You could be my music-scene-mentor."
Elizabeth grins right back at her. She is very, very excited to learn more about music. "Really? That is so cool. I can't really play anything. I tried piano lessons for a month when I was a kid, but yeah. I couldn't stay focused, all the keys look the same, not so interesting. What kinds of instruments can you play?

She beams, rather excited at the idea, "Of course I could!" she agrees with an enthusiastic nod of her head, giggling brightly. "I so have my work cut out for me here, you have so much to learn!"
Anything art or musical in a discussion and Cassie's a happy bunny, she grins. "I could teach you if you like!" she tells her, "And oooooh, but they're not the same! Each key might look white or black and boring - but each one plays a different sound and when you put them all together - you can play anything you want - whatever you feel!" she's very passionate when it comes to playing piano, she's done it for a very long time.
"I play piano mostly and learned a little guitar before I came through the rift," she tells Elizabeth, trying to ignore the pang of sadness in her chest with talking about home, "I wanna start learning again when I get the chance,"
