Luka is in the Conrad workout room, blasting the Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow" from a pair of portable speakers she found in there and doing what looks something like a cross between kickboxing and an aerobics routine. She's open to interruptions, though you might not want to step between her and the punching bag.
Mio is in the Kashtta tower,

It doesn't appear that either of the things she's looking for are on the desktop, but Mio finds a drawer full of various small machinery parts on the right-hand side. Trying to stand out of Mercury's way as much as possible, Mio carefully examines the components in the drawer. Her transdimensional wireless card is in there, it's case cracked open so Tosh can examine the partially melted insides. Well, it looks like that was a lost cause. Mio shrugs and sets it on top of the workspace anyway for her to take back to her room with her.
Mio's PINpoint is in the next drawer down. Tosh had taken off the back of the watch-like object, but other than that nothing seemed to be out of place. Mio pushed the side knob and the small holographic screen flared to life, as usual. It appeared to have a stronger connection to the various satellites now, which was good. She could screw the back plate back on later, once she was out of Sailor Mercury's way.
«That's everything,» Mio says, picking up the wireless card parts from the desk. «Thanks again. I don't believe I've seen you around before--I'm Hongo Mio. Yoroshiku onegai itashimasu.» Mio says with a bow.
[Yoroshiku onegai itashimasu: ritual honorific phrase roughly meaning please remember me; please help me; please treat me well]

Her eyes fixate on the watch; she can't help but be curious. It may not be her place to inquire, but it's such an interesting piece of work. «If it's not too bold, what is the purpose of that?» She motions to the watch, sitting back down at the chair, although she makes sure she continues facing Mio.
She might as well do what she can to make sure she stays on good terms with the others residing in the Tower. Especially as it seems she'll be spending more time here. For various reasons.

«I can show you some other things it can do, things that were not affected by the rift. The most important thing is GPS functionality--» Mio pulls the side knob out and twists it once, and a small three-dimensional map about two inches in diameter pops up from the holographic screen. The Kashtta Tower is shown, as well as the buildings a couple of blocks in either direction. A small light pinpoints Mio's position in the Tower, although the building appears as just a shell--none of the interior rooms are shown. «--like so. It can also give directions, although if you've got an address rather than coordinates it's a bit tricky to input them.»
It does a variety of other things too, such as synchronize itself to the nearest atomic clock signal, though that's commonplace enough technology nowadays that Mio thinks it's scarcely worth mentioning. Besides, while most Mercurys she knows are trustworthy, there are always exceptions. She'd rather not give too much information away and then find out that this was one of those cases, so she'll play information close to the chest for now.

She can't manage to wipe the mildly awe-struck look off of her face, nor can she look away from the device.
«Do you think I could possibly have a chance to look at it at some point?» she asks, finally able to break her stare and give Mio an apologetic smile.

She watches Mercury examine the PINpoint for a moment. «So I take it that you'll be taking over for Sato-san?»

It's not her place to take over anyone's "position." Even if she does end up doing tech work for Torchwood again, she can't see herself as doing that. Replacing a person is really impossible.

«The reason I was asking is because I wanted whoever the new technical expert is for Torchwood to see if this technology would be useful and try to duplicate it,» Mio explains further. She imagines that it would be. While GPS technology was well established now, miniaturization to this scale was not, and neither were 3-D holographic displays. Plus there were a couple of functions she'd never had any occasion to use that might prove useful for Torchwood, such as tracking capability.
