this glorious sadness that brings me to my knees

She feels so small. Tabitha makes her way up to Elashte's office. She's covered in a cold sweat and her eyes are red from crying. She really doesn't know how to handle this. Luke's death hurt her. Tay's death scares her.

Knocking on the door, she tries not to think too hard on everything. Perhaps it's easier just to try and forget it all happened in the first place. But she can't. She can't because it's not fair to the angel's memory.

At least she can split some of that pain.

It is a busy time for the Bestowed. Along with death and pain and monsters, the Rift activity means there are plenty of Gifts and plenty of broken Wanderers. 040798-332 is busy sorting through what looks like a bucket of scrap metal, tossing Pieces aside, as we decides whether or not they are Junk.

The Rift had destroyed the cell phone tower in this area, so we can almost think freely. It's been a long time since the pain had waned.

The Rani is also enjoying the Rift activity. Monsters and wanderers galore means that she has plenty of test subjects. It's harder, though, to convince humans to help her in this body; no one seems to take her seriously. Which means she needs to do further research on the ways that human children manipulate adults through the evolutionary imperative to protect their young.

Which basically means she's being horribly creepy outside of a middle school, watching the children get out and meet up with their parents.

Sailor Mercury is currently doing what she can to get into Tosh's system. The more she digs into the security precautions, the more she wishes she could have known her better. Either way, she'll be able to get in. She laughs, syncing up her minicomputer into the network.

It's like video games, but with more hacking and less shooting.
