Unfortunately for Aaron, the Japanese girl he's tied to doesn't speak much English. And she's currently cursing the fact that she tucked her henshin wand in her bag instead of her pocket, because her bag is lying on the other side of the room.

Minako's also confused as to what in the world happened to get her in this situation, because everyone speaks in English and it makes it hard for her to follow exactly what's being said.

Aaron kinda wishes he listened to Louis about that whole 'every archangel should speak Japanese' spiel. Jesus H. Christ. He also kinda wishes he didn't try to mess with the mob, but it's been a pretty slow monster week and everyone hates the mob.

"Do you speak English at all? Even a little? Domo Anglaise?"

...Languages were never Aaron's strong suit.

"Speak English!" Minako says brightly. ...It's quite clear that she doesn't speak it so much as she mangles what little she knows. "Have stick, bag in! Pow! Safe day!"

She's very enthusiastic in her crappy English, at least?

"...Stick? Please tell me that's Bad English for gun?" And bag is Bad English for 'anything but that thing all the way over there in that corner of the room that cannot be reached in their current situation.'

Minako is going to pretend she doesn't know the word "gun", because more important is trying to scoot to the other side of the room, where her bag is. They can totally do it! And if they can't, well...

«Ami-chan, now would be a good time for a little help...» she mutters under her breath, and starts trying to move a bit. Hopefully the silly American boy will be able to tell what she's trying to do.

AH-HA. THAT MUST BE JAPANESE FOR 'SCOOT, SCOOT FOR YOUR LIIIFE.' Aaron braces his feet and tries to scoot a bit. The chair makes a grating noise as it screeches against the ground.

"That was loud," he says, cringing. "How about we lift the chair and walk... You know... Lift." He tries to stand up. It's rather awkward. "Lift?" He's so taking some remedial language classes at the college when he gets out of this.

It's going to be difficult - Minako's about average size for a Japanese girl, which isn't very large. She is, however, strong and determined. "Lift!" she agrees, understanding the motion. She wiggles a little and does the best she can to stand somewhat.

...Yeah, this is not going to work. Her legs are too short.

Aaron wishes for something to beat his head against and considers just tipping over the chairs and seeing if they can wriggle to the bag, but.... That would probably put them in a more awkward position than they're already in. He tries to scoot again, hissing at the screeching sound, and then glances over at the doorway. He's pretty sure he hears footsteps.
