Kate Hunt is having a drink at a local bar in Chicago. It's not in the best part of town, but it's not in the worst part, either.

She's drinking a beer and waiting for her partner. Most assassins don't have partners.... and most assassins don't live very long. They get paid well for what they do and are protected by the international mafia group they work for.

Not bad.

Her gun presses comfortingly against her leg in its holster. There's another hidden in her coat, but it's smaller and only necessary if she can't reach for her favorite by her leg.

Unfortunately, she's just heard from her superiors that they're to stay here. Shit's going down in Chicago and there will be more jobs coming through soon. Kate hates sticking in one place. Her family will not be happy about this. They like that she's taken up a job with their internation affiliate in crime and that the job takes her all over the world in hopes she'll run into her long-lost, traveller of a cousin.

As if she could possibly manage to convince her to come back to the city and work for them. As if Kate even cares what Annie does.
