Bean is at the Conrad, looking for room 337 and Dusty. She might not know her all that well, but at this point she doesn't care--people have been suffering way too much lately, and she's not about to let anyone suffer more, not if she can help it.
She has box full of homemade cupcakes--most of which are a little lopsided, considering the lack of good supplies--and she is more than willing to share with basically anyone who asks. Potato is also with her, looking a little bedraggled.
Metis, meanwhile, is at Buckingham Crater, looking bemusedly into the wreckage (which has finally been sealed off with police tape). Onigiri the white cat is with him, looking ornery as usual. Metis himself looks a little dazed. Most of the people in the city are looking dazed lately.
The toaster that was hanging from the tree nearby has vanished.
