At midnight, every flea and louse in Chicago drops dead, as if killed by the chime of the clock. For about an hour, everything is perfectly fine in Chicago, the most normal it's been in the past four days.
It doesn't last.
A series of Rifts open up in Grant Park, depositing a number of monsters into the area, all of them whipped into a frenzy. The monsters already lurking in the shadows of the park are quickly taken by the same frenzy and all of them leave the comforts of their nests to venture further than they've ever ventured before- into the city itself and beyond.
When Chicago wakes, it will be greeted by a city overrun with beasts, all of them frenzied and lusting for blood.
Venturing out today might not be the best idea.
