It took Jo a lot of time to get the nerve to show up here. It takes even more nerve for her to actually open the front door and step into Wyatt's office. She passed by a couple of times before but couldn't make it past that one step. Or even up the steps.
But now she's actually in the office proper, and while she's shaking and looks very, very lost, she's here. She knows she needs to be here, but every fiber of her being is telling her to run. Now. While she still has the chance. But she fights it. Standing there, trembling, not sure what to say or what to do.
She's dirty and tired and obviously scared. She wraps her arms around herself, as if that will root her to the spot, keeping the flight instinct from kicking in properly.
