The Trial [Locked][Forwarddated to 9:30am->]

(Treat this as a "party" thread. If your character is supposed to give testimony and you feel that you need or want to write out that testimony, feel free to post them in here giving their testimony. Other characters would be in the court can reply to that comment with their reaction to that testimony. A summary will be up in Martha's journal of what exactly went down.

If your character needs further prompting for their testimony, PLEASE, contact Ella so that you two can work out what would be good for Dawes to ask so that way all the stress is not on her. <3)

In the Conrad Hotel on this Tuesday morning, there is a considerable more amount of bustle throughout the lobby of the hotel than there would be on any normal morning of the week. Not only are guests maneuvering in and out of the doors and to the reception desk, but people with entirely different business here have to be directed to a meeting room at a far hallway to check in. Their identity and reason for being allowed to attend the trial have to be confirmed by Martha Jones, herself, (to prevent any mistakes or unnecessary trouble for a witness) before they are given a pass and directed toward the back of the hotel.

There's a conference room here. The double doors are guarded by two archangels. They only let in people with a pass. Inside the room, an impromptu court room has been set up. The jury sits against the wall across from the doors. Witnesses and individuals with permission to watch the trial are seated in the far back of the room facing the front. At the front, Gail, acting as judge, is seated and next to her is the seat for witnesses to give testimonies from.

The prosecutor and defense attorney have their own tables in front of the 'audience' covered with their own notes on the subject. The defendant won't be escorted in until everyone else has been seated.

Once everyone is in place, an angel (who has to try to transcribe this whole trial) stands in front of everyone, fingers trembling, as she reads from next to her desk, "Trial 1. This is The First Conrad Trial: The People VS Time Agent 462O1." She takes a seat and plays her fingers on the keyboard, ready to type.

And thus the first trial for the supernatural world begins.
