With Deeper, Sadder Eyes

Topher's been helping where he can with the Conrad construction on and off, since he had a real job and all. Unfortunately that real job doesn't exist any more. That branch of the bank closed, and Topher didn't get a transfer. It happened about a week ago. Since then he's been showing up to help pretty much any time he can reasonably expect to find work to do. Right now, the team he was helping is taking a lunch break. Since Topher finds joining people at meals terribly awkward, he's sitting in the common area with his laptop working on resumes. And since he doesn't really like resumes, he's likely to take any distraction that comes by.

Sakura is up on the roof of the Conrad with her violin. She's seen too many anime or something, and she's curious what the sound quality is like with the architecture and wind. The answer is, unsurprisingly, not that good, but it's a rather exhilarating way for her to play up there anyway. Audiences are always welcome.
