what doesn't kill me doesn't kill me so fill me up for just another day

Jack is out of cigarettes.

This is clearly an injustice that cannot be borne.

Lacking any other options, Jack is currently holed up in the Conrad common room, paging through newspaper classifieds looking for steady job options and slowly coming to the conclusion that he's not really qualified to do...well, anything, aside from being a soldier or a prince, and the odds of finding a classified ad looking for either are slim to none.

But even aside from the not-insignificant matter of his nicotine supply, he desperately needs something to impose a semblance of normality on his life right now. The occasional one-off jobs aren't cutting it anymore. So he continues ad-hunting, looking for something he might actually not be terrible at. With every passing half hour, he lowers his standards more and more.

That said, he wouldn't be angered by a distraction.
