Your 5'OClock News Station Sez You Been Flagged

Mar 30, 2009 23:58

"Good evening, Chicago." The 11 o'clock news opens with a shot of Chicago's favorite reporter at a desk. "The top story tonight, the votes are in. Election day has come to a close and in a landslide victory that has never been seen before, Randall Flagg has been named as the mayor of Chicago. After months spent without a mayor, many citizens feel grateful to have any one at all in this position. The majority of Chicago are in full support of Flagg and have big hopes for what he will do for the city."

There are shots of different citizens in Chicago asking them their thoughts. Everyone seems to be responding positively. One lady seems to be a little too excited about Flagg, but there is not a negative thing to be said among them, whether this is media creating a slant or simply that there is no human in Chicago that has heard of Flagg that doesn't like him... is hard to tell.

"Around the country the reactions have been mixed. Republican and Democratic officials worry that if such a landslide victory can be taken by a candidate that is nonpartisan than what is to come of this country? They worry it will bring an end to bipartisan and change the shape of the government as we know it.

Campaign parties around the city are celebrating the victory. We take you to one now..."
