Don't turn away (Don't give into the pain); Don't try to hide (Though they're screaming your name)

This whole CLF thing has Revan more than a little twitchy, and staying inside the Conrad in the hopes of avoiding the whole thing hasn't helped. In fact, in many ways it seems to have made things a bit worse, for she now has a rather bad case of Cabin Fever ( Read more... )

Straight out of a movie is about right, considering Revan's a Jedi. Not that Bean knows that. But still. Revan frowns at this. "Well, there might've been, but it wasn't in my home galaxy, so I never had any contact with it. As for me, I'm from a remote world called Deralia. I don't remember it very well, though. I was taken at a very young age from my family. The Order I belong to prefer to train children."

Revan's eyes grow distant when Bean mentions people hating other people for something they can't control. It reminds her of Taris, where the humans repeatedly oppressed non-humans living there. That, too, pissed her off.

"There was a planet I visited where that sort of thing was accepted and even expected of humans. Aliens were always third class citizens. Not even second class, that was for the poor humans..." She shakes her head, clearing the memory from her thoughts. If she thinks about it any more she's going to start getting angry again.

((OOC: You're okay to have Bean canon-puncture Revan if you want. She'll probably take the whole thing in stride. ^_^;))

"Your home galaxy? Planets? Oh gosh, you're from a whole other planet? That's amazing! I always knew there were aliens on Earth! I mean, no one ever believes that, but I always sort of suspected, you know? What's the Order you're from?"

Revan has essentially made Bean's month. Magical humans, angels, demons, portals to other dimensions, and now aliens--real aliens! It's all the sorts of things that Bean has read about and always hoped existed, but never thought to ever encounter in her life.

"Oh...really? Whole planets like that, huh? I didn't even know there were other humans out there...gosh, it's like Star Trek."
