Dressed up like a million dollar trouper... Super duper.

It's Randall Flagg's last rally before election day, which keeps getting pushed back for various reasons. The CLF has taken out vital political people. It's all working into Flagg's ultimate plan, however. He is still on the hunt for someone. It's not clear to him who she is yet, but he will know her when he sees her.

It will be much more difficult to look after becoming mayor.

After his speech, Randall Flagg returns to greet the people one last time. He isn't staying long to chat with anyone. Just going down the line, shaking hands, but he can have quick conversations. And most importantly he can find her.

He needs her, and then everything will be set, as it should be. Flagg rarely has issues with situations not going his way. Except the time with the nuke, but we don't talk about that.

Romeo is here. He's mostly scouting for powerful people, but he does enjoy listening to Flagg speak. It amuses him, as so many things do. He leans up against a wall and scans the crowd.

JD has not been around since he learned of Ariel's death. He's been in his room for the entire week surrounded mostly by people who don't exist in this world, and even now he doesn't look altogether here. He's wearing a Vote for Flagg sticker on his ass, again, and he even manages a sincere, excited smile when Flagg actually shakes his hand! However, his eyes looks unfocused and he's managed to surround himself with a false sense of safety so he came alone this time.

It's brighter here than it is anywhere else in Chicago. It might feel warmer, too, and more inviting. This is JD's fault.
