Sirius Black has just come out of a movie theater; it's his first time seeing one alone, and he's very proud of himself because he didn't try to talk to the little people on screen, not even when they were being stupid (which they were for most of it).

Now, he thinks, it's time for a self-congratulatory burger.

Arlin is also out patrolling the city, though 'prowling' might be a better word for his late-night excursions. He's not in a bad mood, per se, but it's hard to say that Arlin's ever in an incredibly good mood. Really, he's restless, and sick of lurking around the Estates or his gunshop. It'd be nice if the O had any jobs for him, or if it would just let him up and skip town for awhile, to get away from this madness. Can't do that, though, given the upcoming election and the fact that his people are usually just roped into bodyguard service.

So he's stalking around, just to let off some steam. It's...a thing he does when he doesn't feel like bothering Leona for whores, or beating the fuck out of a punching bag, or something. His prowling may just take him by Faith.

Faith is sitting in a high branch of a tree, watching him for signs of Wrongness. She approves of his choice in clothing, at least - black leather is everybody's friend, Faith believes.

She would also heartily approve of skipping town.

At first, Arlin doesn't notice, being more concerned with the surrounding ground-level movements than any of the high-tree movements. But you get used to scanning higher windows (and tree branches, if you happen to be near any) for snipers and that ilk when you're in this line of business, so eventually his eyes graze over the trees.

And he kind of catches something off about one. He doesn't really make too much of a show of hiding his interest in the tree, though he doesn't approach it either, merely continuing on his trajectory by it. Better that whoever it is knows he (kind of) saw them than to think he's an easy target, at least.

Faith approves of that, too.

She's dangling from the branch by her knees when he walks past, humming quietly, seemingly unconcerned by the sizable drop to the ground below her.

That would have gotten a double-take, if Arlin were the type to ever double-take at anything. Instead he just stares upward, and then gives her an unimpressed look. "Enjoying yourself, I take it?"

Why, exactly, he's actually engaging this weirdo in conversation is beyond him, other than possibly the 'mildly interesting' aspect of hanging upside down from a very high tree branch in the middle of Chicago. Then again, 'mildly interesting' tends to mean 'Wanderer'.
