There are things the Doctor has to do before leaving the state. Martha's busy stealing borrowing them a car anyway, and Donna's taking care of Emily, and he left Des with a map and a bunch of scribbled notes, so maybe by the time the Doctor gets back to the house, they'll actually know where they're going. The Doctor, for his part, is wandering. It's snowing, but he doesn't seem to care much. It's easier to think than when he's sitting in the house, and it's old habit by now. At least this time it's not wandering with the intent of running away. He's got too much to do now for that.
Michael, meanwhile, has swung by the Conrad, mostly out of curiosity. He'd really just like to know what resources he has at his disposal here, and if his keycard from his universe works on the elevators in this one. He smiles a little as the doors open for him when he swipes it through, and steps in - if it's anything like the Conrad at home, no one's going to be suspicious of another wanderer around. Well, that's something going right in this universe...
In the Kashtta, Tosh is... looking for absolutely anything to do with herself. She just wants something to distract herself with, and if she doesn't find it soon, she's going to end up going to the basement to see what she can do about the supercomputer. Again.
And there's Grace, who would like to be at the coffee shop right now, but that's been burned down. And sure, she could find another coffee shop (that's probably a good idea, actually, considering), but that's not the point. ...So instead she's in the medical room of the Conrad, reorganizing things that don't need to be reorganized and trying to pretend she's not bored out of her mind and desperately wishing things would stop blowing up.
