Des has apparently decided that despite this being the first time he's ever been in Torchwood HQ, the sights aren't as wonderful as one might think. He could have gone back to his office to make sure the damn building's still standing and hasn't been repossessed since he's been gone (not that the damn thing isn't "paid for" completely, but you never know with those freakish mafia types), but if no one's letting the Doctor out (for good reason), he figures he ought to be here for moral support.
At the moment, he's sitting on a counter in the kitchen with a doughnut dangling out of his mouth, his journal open rereading "the Prophet guy's" entry and wondering if it's quite possible that it gets more filled with bullshit the more he reads it. Okay, maybe he's a cynical bastard. It's a good luck for him, or so he thinks.
Also in the Kashtta, Marshall is in the CCTV room looking just a bit less harried than he has for the past, you know, week, mostly because things have passed without too much incident and the word around the tower is that things are possibly just a bit more hopeful than they did before... Or something. At least he can feel comfortable actually looking away from the screens for five seconds without fearing that something might happen, although he is keeping a close eye on the screens.
Mitsuki is the Conrad Basement, organzing groups of assembled archangels into scouting parties. For once she's not dressed like a businesswoman, but actually in army fatigues and clothing best suited for hunting and not... Running a profitable gunrunning venture. She's actually standing on a crate, because it's very hard to order people around when you're two feet shorter than pretty much everyone. She is no adverse to questions, comments, or a Molly that she can take aside and flail at for a little while. Fucking demons. Disrupting her peace talks.
In the Main Gauche, Piper is wandering the halls, poking around like curious little Glaysa-Labolas demons are wont to do when they're bored and have just finished their last book (one day she'll learn to pace herself- she can't get out to bookstores all that often, after all). Thankfully, unlike some demons are wont to do when bored, she has no ill intent towards anyone... Unless rambling about something nonsensical at someone is considered ill intent.
Sark... Is still in prison. The narration just felt like throwing him in here for no apparent reason. Evidently, it feels you should be aware of these things... Or something. Completely unrelated to that, Vincent is STILL IN A COMA.... Just in case you were wondering how that was going. (If it makes you feel better, you can pretend he's fighting crime in 1973.)
