I call on the resting soul of Galileo, king of night vision, king of insight...

The Doctor has been in the sewers for a few days now. He'll continue to be down there until he's sorted out what's wrong, because... well, because it's the Doctor, and he's not good at giving up on a problem if he thinks he can sort it out. He is, at the moment, wandering down a tunnel lit only by some sort of phosphorescent fungus, sonic screwdriver in hand but not currently in use.

There's about a half-foot of water on the ground where he is now, and he's not being at all quiet about splashing through it. He is, however, vaguely hoping nothing comes out of one of these side tunnels and tries to eat him. It's not like he hasn't done it before, but running through sewers is something he'd prefer to avoid if possible. He's already going to have to get a new suit.

Meanwhile, aboveground... other people are doing things probably less interesting and definitely less likely to ruin clothing. At the Kashtta, Toshiko is in the control room with her laptop, alternating between programming something on that and keeping an eye on the CCTV system, because someone ought to, she feels. Or maybe she's in here less to keep an eye on the CCTV than because she thinks people are less likely to find her and talk to her here. She's not exactly a happy Tosh right now, for a number of reasons.

In the kitchen of the Kashtta, Nate is hunting for food. And grumpy, which of course means that his wings are out. You can talk to him, but he might snap at you, depending on who you are. Not far from the Kashtta is Sydney, taking a walk - the sun's already down, and it's starting to get dark, but she needs the fresh air and she's not much intimidated by the idea of dangerous things out there. She's got her Glock for monsters, and any humans, she's more or less certain she can deal with.

Logan is in the city, and while you could probably call it a walk, what she's doing seems much closer to prowling. There's something predatory about her movements, a particular measuring quality to her gaze if she happens to meet your eyes. There are so few archangels in the city anymore, someone might as well make the best of it, and she's bored and restless. Vacation was all well and good, but she's thinking she'll have to get back in business soon before she loses her mind.

And in Cicero, at the Main Gauche, there's a dragon sitting in the scorched trees. A smallish dragon, though not as small as she can be - about the size of a terrier, her gold skin gleaming somewhat even in the fading light. There is a pile of clothes at the base of the tree, if anyone happens to notice. Annie might be just a little stressed. And a little angry at certain stupid brothers who won't let her try to help them when they get in stupid trouble... Alright, there's only one of those. The point still stands.
