Two black SUVs pull up in front of the Kashtta, one following directly behind the other. Gwen's driving the first, with Tosh in the seat beside her, Sam in the back. Suzie's driving the second, Maya's body in the back. It's not as if Torchwood's never transported a body in the back of one of their SUVs, it's just usually not human, or at least not one of their own.
Gwen glances to Sam in the rearview mirror as she stops the car, frowning a little. He hasn't spoken much... at all since the Main Gauche, and he spent the entire ride back silent and expressionless, staring quietly out the window. She understands it, but it's not exactly a good sign.
"You two should go inside. Have a lie down." She's fairly certain neither of them have slept since the battle. "Suzie and I will deal with Maya."
Sam wasn't particularly waiting for permission. He's out of the car almost as soon as she's done speaking, slamming the door shut behind him and starting up the stairs to the Kashtta. If anyone needs him, he'll be in his room, though he's not particularly in a mood to speak to anyone.
Tosh grimaces and glances over to Gwen. "If you want, I can send Owen down to help you..."
Gwen shakes her head. "We'll manage." The first thing Suzie needs coming back to Torchwood is not to deal with a suspicious and resentful Owen. "Thank you, though."
Tosh nods a little and slides out of the car herself, bringing her laptop with her. It's a little odd coming back, considering the last time she was here, she had the building under lockdown, and she'd shot Owen and Daniel... She's going to have a lot of apologies to make, but at least she's home.
Gwen waits a moment, both hands on the steering wheel, closing her eyes for just a minute. This is not disaster. This is nothing they can't move on from. They pick up the pieces and keep going.
She slides out of the SUV at last, shuts the door, and starts back to meet Suzie by the other car. Well, this is lovely. Welcome back to Torchwood. Help me move a body.
