On 1854 W North Ave, a street address mentioned in a very specific journal entry there is a small bookstore. Fairly innocuous, really, and more than a little worthy of being completely overlooked, but if you happen to be a wanderer, intrigued by the words in the journal entry, it might be worth poking around inside

The counter is about shoulder-height on Edna, so at least she'll be spared the indignity of standing on tip-toe.

"Yes, thank you." She can appreciate that the young lady has more than likely had a busy day, but it's about to get busier. Edna's had to work with runway models, movie stars, and supers all either expecting or needing something hopelessly elaborate in the next thirty seconds. Sorry Bambi, but you're not gonna find too much sympathy here.

Edna takes out her journal and tears off the back page; she finds things tend to happen the way she would like with greater frequency if she writes them down first. Sliding the page across the counter to Bambi, she begins elaborating on her list.

"My name is Edna Mikkiko Mode, born May third, 1972 in Weimar, Germany. Graduated the Berlin Academy of Art and Design with full honors in 1994; received a PhD in textiles and design from the Bauhaus in 1998."

She gives Bambi a moment to absorb all that.

"If it's not too much trouble I'd also like some letters of reccommendation from those universities, as well as few from whoever is high-up in the fashion world these days."

Bambi is rather impressed by all that. She takes a drag on the cigarette she lit up while waiting for Edna to get all that done and nods. "Anything you want, jellybean. I got you covered. Bit more ambitious than I'm used to, but I can't begrudge someone wanting to get their life back exactly the way it was before."

That's what she's here for, after all... Well, within reason. She's had some creeps come in here before, but she knows how to deal with those people.

"It'll take about a week. Possibly two since we're talkin' detailed shit and I've got orders coming out my ass, but it'll be done. Whole shebang."

Edna nods, satisfied.

"That's perfectly fine, Darling. I'm still compiling my portofolio anyway." And almost forty years worth of designs is a LOT of ground to make up, even if you are only recreating your greatest hits. "By all means, be thorough and take your time."

Bambi salutes a little and it's hard to tell whether it's mock or she totally means it as a serious gesture of how well she'll do with it. Then again, she's an Angel of Knowledge and they don't half-ass anything.

"I'll contact you through the journals when everything's ready," she adds, before she starts to head back down to into the basement with the new information.
