A cab pulls up in front of the Main Gauche, rather slowly and reluctantly as it gets close enough to see the twisted wreckage of the gates, a few scorch marks on the buildings and grounds... Gwen hands the driver a few bills and slides out of the back seat, eying the gates uncertainly for a second before she starts inside. She can deal with this.

The layout of the complex isn't familiar, but it's not difficult to navigate (unlike the Tower), so Gwen finds Tosh in fairly short order. A quiet, withdrawn Tosh staring out at the grounds that were a battlefield last night, which Gwen doesn't find particularly comforting.

Walking up behind her, she rests a hand on her shoulder lightly. It occurs to her she probably should have let Tosh know she was coming. "Tosh?"

Tosh jumps a little at the touch on her shoulder, mostly out of surprise - she hasn't slept since last night, and she's more than a little tense, but she actually smiles as she turns and sees Gwen standing there. "Gwen!"

As much as she's been vaguely worried the rest of the team's going to be upset with her for what happened the last time they saw her, it's good to see Gwen here, especially after Jack... disappeared.

She'd been worried about Tosh, but that smile is reassuring. Gwen grins, moves around the chair, and hugs her, never mind that it's a bit awkward with Tosh sitting and her standing. After all of this, Tosh deserves a hug.

"I just dropped by to speak to Elashte. I thought I'd pick up you and Sam while I'm here." And Maya's body, but Gwen's trying not to think about that. "If you want to come back to the Tower, I mean. It's your choice." She pulls up a chair close to Tosh and sits down, watching her.

"Of course I want to come back." Especially after last night, though she doesn't expect something like that to happen again. But between last night, and the attack on the Tower earlier... she'd rather be where she can be of use. With Torchwood. "I'm surprised you survived this long without me."

"Just barely. I'm glad. We missed you. Even Owen was worried about you." She gets to her feet again after a moment. "I'll come get you when we're ready to leave, alright? It may be a while." Tosh nods, and Gwen smiles again before turning away. Now she just has to find Sam... and Suzie... One step after another. She'll manage.
