Maya's driven as quickly as possible to the Main Gauche - as quickly as won't get her stopped by an officer, and as would be safe given that she still has to get used to everyone here driving on the wrong bloody side of the road - and finally come to the Main Gauche and parked. She recognises the other Torchwood SUV, parked with an uncharacteristic abandon, and steps out, hurrying up to the gate.
Which is locked, has no comm, and requires a passcard.

She beats one palm on the bars, calling "Excuse me? Torchwood!" and hoping that might count for something. There really should be some sort of allowance for this.
She's still pounding on the gate when she notices someone approaching out of the corner of her eye and whips around to see who it is.
It is, apparently, Karunamayee.
Maya turns her attention back to the door. "You have a hell of a sense of timing," she says. "I don't suppose you've been in this building before."
Karu shakes her head. "I haven't. But I thought you'd need me here."
"I'm not the one with an assassination order on my head," Maya says, giving the gate one more thump. "Fuck!"
