Tay is up "her" tree in the courtyard at the Main Gauche, wedged in between a couple of higher branches, her wings out to help her balance and her knees tucked under her chin. Her shotgun is propped up against the tree, and for once, she probably wouldn't say a word if you tried to touch it. From this angle, it's nearly impossible to tell that she's got quite a lot of blood on her clothes from this afternoon's hunt.
It felt good to kill again. And she knows that Thorne more than deserved what she got. But...
Well, Tay had let Malek talk her into not killing her right away, drawing it out, making sure she hurt before she died. Instead of just filling her head with shotgun pellets, or slitting her throat, or a .45 to the heart. And... she'd enjoyed it. She'd gotten this thrill at making her scream, and cutting her fingers off one by one.
