The beginning of the end of it all....
The week of the Doctor's vacation begins fairly innocuously, all things concerned. No explosions, no mass chaos, no localized apocalypses. Just a white dog hopping over his fence and running up to paw at the door.
The Rani's been altering Specimen 139 again, focusing on endurance this time, and having a canine helper who can reliably get to the Doctor's assumed place of residence seems like a good idea. Specimen 139, for her part, remembers this as the place where she gets the tasty food and there was the nice man, so she's more than eager to come visit.
