It's a warm, pleasant evening, which has plenty of people outside enjoying the not entirely fresh city air. No one wanted to be out earlier in the day, but now that it's cooled off a little... there are people abroad. Well, depending on your definition of people.
Tosh is out of the Kashtta for the first time since Torchwood arrived there - after a while, she just needed to get some air. She considered the park, but it's a bit too close to the Conrad for comfort, on top of which... well, every time she went to the park before, she always ran into a certain someone. So instead, she's in a bar near the Kashtta, tucked into a booth by herself with a drink and plenty of notes and plans scattered across the table in front of her. Just because she's out of the Tower doesn't mean she's taking a break.
Neither are Gwen and Sam for that matter, though they're not even out of the Tower. Instead, they're... in the lobby of the tower, sitting at the reception desk - it's a nice, central location where they can be easily located if anyone needs them. In the meantime, they're going over floorplans and budgets. It's making Gwen's head hurt, and Sam would really rather be anywhere but here. Oh, the joys of leadership. Please, please interrupt them.
Meanwhile, closer to the Conrad, Logan has decided to take a chance and wander into the city again. No archangels have descended on her just yet, so that has to be a good sign. She is, at the moment, just strolling by the coffee shop, and takes note of the fact that they've started to rebuild it. It takes a special kind of determination to rebuild the place after a joint murder-arson. She's got to admire that, and can't help but grin as she passes by.
Luckily for her, the hunting archangels went the opposite direction when they left the Conrad. Georgia and Martin are wandering the streets, joking with each other, occasionally giving each other playful shoves into the street, to all appearances carefree (and possibly just a little tipsy). Both, however, have weapons concealed on their person, and are paying close attention to those who pass by them, taking note of anything... suspicious. They've both been doing this for over a hundred years, and been partners for decades. They can totally hunt and goof off at the same time.
It's apparently a good night for hunting, because Buffy is preparing to leave the Main Gauche, stake in hand. There may not be vampires, but there are monsters, and she gets bored and restless sitting around the complex too long. Feel free to stop her or come along, if you feel like it (though Andrew, we make no guarantees she won't take your camera and throw it in a gutter).
Angua might like to be... no, she would not like to be hunting. At least, she keeps telling herself that. This close to the full moon, it's very difficult to make the wolf just shut up, which is why she's very definitely staying inside for the next three nights. At the moment, she's in the cafeteria of the Conrad, using a fork to poke discontentedly at her food without actually eating it. The only thing she really wants to eat right now is raw meat, but that's probably not the best idea. This is the part about being a werewolf that's not so much fun - that is, unless you don't care if you occasionally eat people.
