COLE is out on the street, sitting numbly. Jasper's gone. And he feels... even more useless than before. And his head is killing him. And he misses home. A lot. So he's slumped over on a park bench, head in his hands, palms pressing into his eyes, where the throbbing is focusing itself.
DR. PARKER is sitting in a hallway in the basement, currently trying to get drunk because they're back. The voices in his head. He found some beer in the cafeteria, and while that's not what he's used to drinking, he figures he can do it. He managed to miss the memo to get out of the basement, but it wouldn't matter much to him anyway. So he's just sitting there, feeling a little buzzed and trying to convince himself that the whispers of voices? Are from the alcohol.
GLADYS is puttering out and about (and she can say that because she looks old.) She's buying cookie cutters and flour and other things, because she's sick and tired of the Conrad. So she's in a little grocercy store, humming an ancient tune under her breath and generally playing the part of the crazy old lady. She's good at it, too.
VAUGHN is sitting in the lobby, grinning a little. He's- dare he say it?- happy. He just found Syd and... she seemed to remember him. Which he knows is completely impossible, because she hadn't met him yet when she came through, but... he's willing to believe anything to be with her. It borders on creepy, but it's been so long since they could be together... three years is a long time to wait. So allow him this bit of stupidity.
