According to the Conrad Hotel website, the Rendez-Vous is "The ideal spot nestled off the lobby to unwind...". And that's exactly what Cole Anderson is doing. It's been a tough couple of weeks as of late, and he hasn't had a lot of breathing time. The quick move from the basement up here was... well, quick, and it still hasn't really sunk in, any of it. Even the Rift. And earlier it seemed like the angels had been the right guys to side with, but now... now it was like the angels, excluding a select few, were the enemies. And Cole has no idea who to trust. He can't seem to find any of the people he knew from the basement, and he misses his mother and April more than he'll let himself acknowledge.
He's feeling pretty damn alone. So he's sulking inside the Rendez-Vous, the Coke grasped in his left hand, people watching. Which, coincidentally, is another thing the Conrad Hotel website says the Rendez-Vous is good for.
Talk to him. Poke him. Anything. He's not one to be left alone with his thoughts. They do more harm than good.
