Tension is high after the debacle last night and while Sark couldn't care less either way about anything as long as it doesn't put his or April's life in danger, he's not immune to the feeling, although his tension comes from other, mostly unrelated places. ...of course, the politics he's actually experienced are Gallifreyan, where even catastrophes generally take weeks, if not months, to play out. So, as embarassing as it might be, he's actually been taken by surprise by the events here recently.
So now he's in the common room. Thinking.
He's aware of everyone else there, faint at the back of his mind. Background noise. But one man is standing out a bit more than the others.
After a while - a good ten minutes after he walked in - he sends a polite psychic ping in Sark's direction.
Excuse the interruption. You're projecting.

Still, even when he's almost gotten used to the whole psychics thing, it still weirds him out when he runs into them, and the only other psychic who has ever pinged him like that was April and that is... Definitely not April.
Somewhere in between jumping like a scared rabbit and that realization, he manages to get some level of his decorum back. "You know, there really are an unsettling amount of you people around," he muses out loud, without actually bothering to look around.
Which... Addresses nothing, honestly, but that's Sark for you.

"My apologies. I didn't mean to startle you." He pauses a beat, examining Sark's face, brushing over his mind. Not invasively - there are very strict moral rules against that - but taking in whatever's spilling out. "You were unconsciously projecting your emotions. I thought you might want to be aware."

There's a headtilt as he gives the Vesmier an appraising look, having just locked his emotions back again with an accompanying mental note to be careful about that in the future. He's used to his head being safe, honestly, and sometimes it gets to a point where he forgets that things are different. He's at least vaguely aware of almost everyone in the basement, but somehow he's completely missed this man.
"And may I ask who I should be thanking for that?"
