Sonja's been busy. She slept her first night in the Main Gauche, left early the next morning, and hasn't been back since, mostly because she doesn't half-ass a job. Her blind ambition, however, has paid off and she strolls into the sunroom with a look of pure smug satisfaction on her face, happy to see that the little blonde demon she accosted in the hall was right about Shepard's whereabouts.
"Tell me I'm brilliant," she says by way of announcing her arrival.
Sonja's grin somehow manages to get wider. She sprawls across a nearby chair, her legs dangling over the side of the armrest while her head dangles over the other side. "Hell yeah, I did. There's this guy I met when I first got into the city. Big real estate mogul who bought a bunch of buildings that were damaged in the earthquake so he could tear 'em down and turn 'em into something useful."
She locks her fingers and stretches her arms over her head. "Then the plague hit and propertly values went down the shitter and now he's got all this property that he doesn't know what to do with. I just convinced him to let me take one off his hands."
Which should have been impossible, but Sonja's got skills. We'll completely ignore the fact that the man will be found with a bullet in his head sometime later, the victim of an apparent suicide. So tragic, really, when real estate ventures go so badly that one has to take their own life.
