Title: Living Dead Author: beyondtheremix Theme: 010 Dead Tree (Dir en Grey) Rating: PG-13 Pairing: Tora/Hiroto Bands[s]: Alice Nine Disclaimer: AU, steam punkish Comments: Goes along with this song and its lyrics.
I like writing this way, where there's an almost understanding and you don't quite get it until you've reached the end. And maybe even then it takes a whole reread to actually understand *sweats* but I do hope everyone understands it lol I wouldn't know how else to express what I'm seeing XD
I can't really think of much more to say than that, just wow. The imagery is amazing and the way you have little pieces of flashbacks and stuff is a really good touch... just wow... o.o
Okay now I'm slightly more awake and I'm rereading it from a lovely big computer screen.
GOD LAN-TAN-SENPAI. I THINK I'M TEARING. The imagery, the feelings, the whispers - they're perfect, all utterly perfect.
I think I just fell harder in love with your writings (if I can love it even more than I already do) that's just perfect.
And the hints you gave as to Hiroto, perfect.
""They say we're cursed here. The granite bedrock in the sky, God's scourge on the city.""
This will forever be one of my favourite lines. And how Hiroto goes that everything was unreal, and that he wasn't real, along with thoughts of cursed cursed cursed.
And the ending. Have my love.
""We're not cursed," Tora snorted. "We're a miracle.""
Oh god. So, so beautiful.
I think I'm going to reread it again. The imagery is too beautiful to be forgotten.
Reread, reread is GOOD! XDDD I'm glad you caught all the hints :D It's really quite noticeable the second read what's going on, the setting and everything hehehehe SNEAKY
Oddly I feel like I did not write this and so can agree that I like that last line!!!! XD Miracle, they're a miracle♥ Love is a miracle and even the extra time they had was a miracle. But all good things must come to an end, you can't hide from fate.
Sometimes Hiroto looked in the mirror and didn't see purple lips and sunken eyes. Sometimes Tora looked and Hiroto's skin gleamed honey life in the setting sun. <--This line. ;___;
My favorite part about this story was how much it made me feel for Hiroto, even reading through the first time without fully understanding it. And then the second time I picked up on the subtle, just-hinting-at wording about him being... whatever he is.
GOSH, you should include a warning about playing the song in the background while reading this. =A= *Very well may break your heart!*
LOL "And then the second time I picked up on the subtle, just-hinting-at wording about him being... whatever he is." ♥ The more you read it, the more hints you find!
Their cursed hearts.//One gifted mind.
Tiny tiny hints. Basically Hiroto is sick, people don't approve of their love, Tora tries to make him better but it just isn't enough. I'll leave there rest to the reader to fill in ;)
Thanks for reading!!!! and ISN'T THAT SONG SAD TAT?!!? If it catches me in the wrong mood I could be bawling for hours pffft lol ♥
