BTW, congrats on your 'anniversary' (sympathies aside, glad you got out of there)-- any word yet on whether the new job is officially permanent? :D Or is it still in talks?

I have unofficial confirmation that I'm being offered a permanent position sometime in the coming weeks. Management is treading lightly, since that requires reducing another person to half time, unless we discover another funding source.

Urk, stupid funding issues! But so glad to hear they're *actively* looking for ways to keep you there on a permanent basis -- you've seemed so much less stressed these past few months! :D

(Or, I haven't seen as many frustrated posts -- and you've made lots of headway on your house renos!) XD
