One of the reasons I always loved "Avatar: TLA". That show had many levels and layers -- and it was a lot of fun. The humour and delivery were top-notch most of the time, it had its own intelligence and never took itself too seriously (a certain episode comes to mind here), and the characters weren't static. I think damn-near everyone evolved. You even saw Ozai change and show emotion.

But one scene has always stuck with me, and it's this one. This is the scene that gets me every time I hear it.

How many other series, cartoon or live-action, do you see that can have such a simple song, sung so emotionally, convey so much?

"Avatar:TLA", I will never do you justice through fanfic, but you will always inspire me to do my best creatively to try and meet the standard you set in storytelling.
