Batman: "You should work on your stealth skills. I heard you coming halfway across the roof." Nightwing: "Good to see you, too." - "Animal Act", The New Batman Adventures
Oh. Bummer. He seemed- Babs always said- I mean- Well she never really said but you just kind of could tell but Dinah said- [Okay, stop. Let's try this again Misfit.]

[Answer: Definitely not when he's still droned. Now, here's another question: What is a cheery, chipper, droned Edward Nigma doing here at Makeout Point? Well, it looks like he's taken quite a liking to your car, Bats, so he decided to tail you and ask about it. And once you step out of the car, he steps out as well, on his way to greet you.]
That's a mighty fine chariot you've got there, stranger. Still can't say the same about those wacky threads.
I know--I KNOW--you did not just go there Mister ;pbeyondthecowlAugust 4 2011, 22:46:18 UTC
[It's ironic that whenever the Bat wants to be alone, people always come and bother him. Although, he's starting to accept that he'll never truly be alone here.
[That glare just bounces right off Drone!Eddie, who laughs jovially.]
Don't have a cow, Daddy-O. Just wanted to get a closer look at your hot rod, that's all. My son sure seemed crazy about it the last time you were in my neighborhood.
All right, you've gotten your "closer look". It's time to go home now.
[He's totally grabbing Drone!Eddie by the shoulders and spinning him around, pushing him towards the trail leading up the mountain. He's gathered that there's obviously something wrong with Eddie; but right now, he doesn't give half a damn to try to find out what it is--not that he'd get a straight answer anyway.]

He's gone?!
[But...but...he was the nice one!]

Yes, Harley. He's gone. It's probably for the best.

Oh....
[Just ...sad face. Why couldn't they take Lex instead? Or someone else she didn't care about.]
Yeah......at least he's home now....
[Not even going to 'touch' on the idea that they might not be.]

Hopefully. But who can tell for sure?

Unless you meant... like, for good?

I meant permanently . . . he's gone for good.

D'ya think he's in that thing in the Dairy?

I should certainly hope not. Anyway, I doubt it.

He sighs exasperatedly and glares at Edward.]
Not tonight, Nigma. What do you want now?

He starts to say "yes", but realizing he hates it when people lie to him, he thinks twice about that answer.]
No. I'm not.
My son--today I lost my son.
[Totally just said too much. Oops.]
Sorry. You probably came up here to be alone. I should get going . . .

At least he won't have to suffer more.

I thought you were beyond empathy, Ivy.
