...and now for something completly different
I was trying to find a form for posting, hence the structure of the previous post, but none of the ones I used before seem to work for me. So as follows the highlights of Friday to today!
So Friday I printed up a bunch more “The Game” stickers. I’m not sure if anyone has stumbled upon them, and if those who have even know about the game. Well I guess they do now? I doubt many of the original run made it threw the rain of the last few weeks though. I had that stupid group thing after work, that was one huge waste of time. I did nothing for an hour, input my part of the data in five minutes, then sat around for another half hour. Took off to find the guys after that, assholes got McDs without me! Fifty nuggets for ten bucks, I know they’re big dudes…but that’s a lot of nuggets for one man. I’m sorry let me clarify. FIFTY NUGGETS EACH! I ended up picking up Long Johns instead then just chilled with the guys till like one or two in the morn. Much geekery was had.
Saturday I ended up getting with “Das Crew” to go to the haunted house in Harlingen and see Gunner Hansen, however we lost half of them in the parking lot of Starbucks. Keys where locked in cars, people didn’t want to leave, solidarity for said people kept others there. Then they went to get smashed and play Super Smash Brothers… The surviving members and I however made it to Harlingen, played in a children’s park (at midnight mind you), went to the haunted house, received balloons from a not so creepy IT clown, met Gunner, and then went to Whataburger.
Meeting Gunner was great, and even though we had to wait in line two hours it was completely worth it just to be serenaded by the original Leatherface with a rousing rendition of “Rubber Ducky You’re the One”. I shit you not! Sometimes having to explain its spelled “Bert, as in ‘and Ernie’ not Burt as in ‘Reynolds’ “ has its benefits.
Sunday I stayed in most of the day and watched the first season of Dead Like Me over again, except briefly leaving for delicious delicious crullers!!
Monday I finally got around to decorating my desk… Yes that’s it. I get a small corner of my desk to play with. And the decor never changes. I think I put those fake leaves on that pumpkin like three years ago… But whatever.
As for today, well posting this has been the highlight so far.
