Hi. I just realized I haven't posted anything in a month and since I've still got some lunch break left, I may as well update.
My first year of law school ended pretty well, with the exception of the fact that I developed what seems to be a panic disorder right before finals. It's utterly bizarre, since I wasn't emotionally nervous or even that stressed out. But yeah, I've been dealing with that for the past month or so and it's not fun.
In good news, though, I have started my internship and absolutely love it. The commute home from Morristown is predictably painful, but it's worth it. It's fun being in the middle of everything and knowing things I'm working on have the potential to make a big impact. Everyone here is really great to work with. I'm learning a lot (way more than I did in school, probably) and getting a lot of great feedback on my writing. I'm actually finding I like legal research. Maybe this whole law school thing wasn't such a terrible idea after all.
But yeah, that's my life for this summer; researching, sitting in traffic, and trying not to freak out for no reason. Oh, and checking obsessively for them to finish posting my grades. Hurry up, damn you!
